I have been involved with a couple of different companies online and make a little extra here and there. No, I’m not an internet millionaire (yet!) but I make enough to pay a bill or two. Sometimes, just a little bit helps.

We went to see UP today with some new friends. This movie was so much better than I expected it to be. And the 3-D effects were great! We have found that our local AMC theater offers $5 movies before noon on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. This is a great way to see a movie without breaking the bank. And an added bonus is that the Sunday morning shows are usually very sparsely populated. This is good if you have noisy kids (like my granddaughter!) and don’t want to disturb the other patrons.

Tip of the Day: Have you seen the Redbox movie outlets? All you need is a credit or debit card and you can rent a movie for $1 per night! If you return the movie by 9pm the next day, that is all it costs. If you keep it longer, you will be charge $1 for each night until you return it. Keep it for 25 days and it is yours for $25 (plus tax).
